Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Workshop Live ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including garage owners, service advisors, and any other authorised staff.

2. Description of Service

Workshop Live is a cloud-based workshop management platform that allows automotive garages to track jobs, manage workshop boards, and coordinate service advisors in real time. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Subscription and Payment

• Subscriptions are charged per service advisor per month at the rate displayed at sign-up.
• All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
• A 7-day free trial is available to new accounts. No credit card is required during the trial.
• After the trial period, a valid payment method is required to continue using the Service.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are not provided for partial months, but you may cancel at any time to stop future charges.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or offensive content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or another garage's workspace.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Service.
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.

5. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Each garage operates in its own isolated workspace. Users may not access other garages' data.
• Account owners are responsible for all activity carried out under their account.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Data & Privacy page. All data you enter into the Service remains your property. Workshop Live does not claim ownership of any operational or customer data you store.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated where possible. We are not liable for any losses arising from temporary unavailability of the Service.

8. Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export any records you need.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workshop Live shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
